Hi Dana,

Greetings,

Thanks for the nice post, it is really amazing. I have been to India many times and it is really inspirational and wonderful people.

Dana somehow I am more curious and few things bit confused me in India, I hope you may be able to reflect something on that. Why in the Guru Ji Ashtanga Yoga classes mostly people who are practicing Yoga are westerners?

I have been in India for about 5 years off and on and always believed that India is a nice spiritual country however got shocked while reading one of the book " India culture and Travel scams" written by an Indian who has quoted some facts from Indian society not sure if you gone through.

Somehow my belief system about India as a spiritual country is shaken.

I would be happy if you share any views with me on that.

My Photo

Phases of Life

  • Phases of Life
Pictures taken at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, CA. They reflect an amazing happy time in my life. They feel to me like the phases of life. There is a child reaching towards the women, trying to climb up. There is a young woman securing her footing and her place next to the grown women frozen in stone for all ages. These photos were accidental and not staged at all. They happened and turned out as they were meant to.
